Manchester United have shown an interest in Benfica teenager Umaro Embalo and are looking to prise him away from the Portuguese club, according to a report.
The versatile attacker, comfortable playing as either a winger or a striker, is said to have been on the Red Devils' radar for the best part of a year.
ESPN claims that the 16-year-old was watched up close by chief scout Javier Ribalta during the UEFA Youth League clash between Benfica and United's Under-19s sides earlier this week.
United face competition from a number of other clubs, however, as the same report suggests that the Portugal youth ace - born in Guinea-Bissau - has also been scouted by other sides around Europe.
Embalo came on as a second-half sub in the 2-2 draw in Lisbon on Wednesday, the same day the clubs' respective senior sides met at the Estadio da Luz in Champions League action.
