Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho intends to offer David Luiz a route out of Chelsea at the end of the season, according to a report.
The Brazilian centre-back was dropped from the Blues' squad to face United prior to the international break, leaving his Stamford Bridge future in the balance.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte admitted at full time after the 1-0 win a fortnight ago that he "does not know" whether Luiz will remain part of his long-term plans.
The pair are understood to have fallen out in the wake of the Premier League champions' 3-0 defeat to Roma last month, when the former Paris Saint-Germain defender questioned his manager's tactics.
Luiz may now be on his way out of West London next year, as The Express claims that Mourinho - who managed the 30-year-old during their time together at Chelsea - is weighing up a summer move, or maybe even sooner if the opportunity arises.
Mourinho started Luiz 15 times in the Premier League during their one season together in 2013-14, before selling him to PSG at the end of the campaign for £50m.
