Barcelona are reportedly on the verge of offering Neymar a new long-term contract.
The Brazilian international arrived at Camp Nou from Santos in 2013 and is still on the same five-year deal that he signed upon joining the Spanish outfit.
While there is no panic to extend the 23-year-old's contract, Manchester United's reported interest this summer has accelerated the talks, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The same report claims that talks with the forward and his father, Neymar Sr, will begin when the latter arrives in Barcelona next week.
Neymar scored 15 times during his first season with the Spanish giants, but hit 39 last term as the Catalan giants won La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.
