Sergio Ramos has reportedly informed Real Madrid that he wants to leave the club this summer.
The 29-year-old, who is believed to be unhappy with his contract situation at the Bernabeu, has been linked with a switch to Manchester United.
The Premier League giants are believed to be keen to include the Spain international in a deal that would result in goalkeeper David de Gea moving to the La Liga side.
According to newspaper AS, Ramos, who has two years left on his contract, met chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez at Real's Valdebebas training ground on Wednesday and told him of his desire to leave due to the club's treatment of him.
Despite the defender's apparent stance, reports have claimed that Real will refuse to sell their player to United.
