Manchester United have reportedly made one final attempt to persuade Marouane Fellaini to remain at Old Trafford by offering him a big-money deal.
The Belgium international is soon to enter the final six months of his Old Trafford contract, meaning that he is able to open talks with foreign clubs from the start of January.
Fellaini, who is understood to have already knocked back a two-year extension in September, is said to have attracted interest from Besiktas and Roma.
According to The Express, however, Jose Mourinho remains desperate to keep the 30-year-old at the club and has offered new-and-improved terms.
The report suggests that Fellaini's current wages of £120,000 a week will increase to around £150,000, with United hopeful that he will shake hands on the take-it-or-leave-it deal.
