Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a swap deal with Inter Milan for Mauro Icardi to help push through Romelu Lukaku's exit.
Belgian striker Lukaku is keen on a move to Serie A and Inter, now managed by Antonio Conte, are the strong favourites to sign him.
However, the Italian side are unable to generate enough funds to match United's £75m valuation, putting a move in jeopardy.
According to The Express, though, Inter are willing to use Icardi as a makeweight, and the Red Devils would be interested in adding the prolific striker to their books.
Icardi has scored 111 league goals for Inter in his six seasons at San Siro.
