Declan Rice is reportedly holding out for a summer move to Chelsea, with West Ham United facing a serious battle to keep hold of the midfielder at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 23-year-old has again been in impressive form for the Hammers this season, scoring four times and registering four assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United have allegedly identified the England international as a leading transfer target, with the Red Devils desperate to improve their midfield during this summer's transfer window.
However, Rice recently hinted that he is keen to stay in London, while West Ham boss David Moyes has said that it will be a serious amount of money to sign the midfielder.
According to the Daily Mail, the Englishman is aware of the interest from Man United but wants to determine whether Chelsea will be moving for him this summer.
The report claims that Manchester City are also admirers, but Rice 'would ideally love to return to Chelsea', having been released by the Blues at the age of 14.
The midfielder has a contract at London Stadium until June 2024 with the option of an additional 12 months, placing West Ham in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations. body check tags ::
