Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to rule out a return to the Premier League.
The 26-year-old, who moved to Spain in 2009 for a world record fee of £80m, has scored 69 goals in 64 games.
“I never close the door, in the Premier League I know the players I know the atmosphere are nice,” he told Sky Sports News.
“I don’t know where [I could go], it is quite difficult. Of course I like Manchester, but I can’t say I am going back there because I am very happy in Madrid.
“Nobody knows the future. I won’t lie to you and say I will be here for 10 years, because I don’t know. Let’s see.”
Ronaldo joined Manchester United in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon and remained in the North West for six years before joining Real.
