Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches has suggested that he is keen on remaining in Germany for the upcoming campaign.
Over the past few days, it has been suggested that Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti may be prepared to entertain offers for the Portuguese talent, with his asking price said to be set at £23.5m.
Those reports emerged after Sanches was limited to just six starts in the Bundesliga last season, but it appears that the highly-rated youngster wants to stay at his current club.
The 19-year-old is quoted by Record as saying: "If I do not stay, I am not discouraged, but I want to stay and do my best. Playing more, I gain more confidence and feel better."
Sanches made a total of 25 appearances in all competitions last season, but 16 of his outings came from the substitutes' bench.
The midfielder has just spent time with Portugal Under-21s at the European Championship, but he could not help his nation progress past the group stages.
