Morgan Schneiderlin will remain a Manchester United player, despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to his agent Pascal Boisseau.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who worked with Schneiderlin at Southampton, was considering a move for the midfielder, according to The Mirror.
The 26-year-old struggled for regular first-team action under Louis van Gaal last season, and he faces a battle to start with Jose Mourinho as manager given that he has been on the bench for all three of their Premier League games so far this season.
On the final day of the summer transfer window, rumours have been swirling around, but Schneiderlin's representative has quashed speculation about his client by telling Sport Witness: "He's staying in Manchester."
Schneiderlin spent seven years with the Saints before joining United last summer for a fee in the region of £24m.
