Sofyan Amrabat is reportedly still waiting for Manchester United to make a move for him, with the midfielder currently being left out by Fiorentina amid the speculation surrounding his future.
The Morocco international did not feature in his side's Europa Conference League playoff first leg with Rapid Vienna on Thursday evening.
The midfielder will also not be involved against Lecce in Serie A on Sunday, with the 27-year-old currently training away from his teammates due to the transfer speculation.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Amrabat has been waiting for Man United since the end of June, but the 20-time English champions are yet to submit an offer.
Erik ten Hag's side are said to be keen on the 2022 World Cup semi-finalist but need to first move players on in order to bring him to Old Trafford in the latter stages of the market.
Man United managed to move onto six points from their three Premier League matches this season courtesy of a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils were two goals behind inside the opening four minutes, but Christian Eriksen and Casemiro struck to level the scores before Bruno Fernandes won it late on.
Ten Hag has lavished praise on the character of his side during the clash at Old Trafford.
"Horror start, but the character of the team was brilliant. We stayed so calm and so composed. We stuck to our belief, stuck to our plan, played some good football and scored three good goals. It was a great comeback," Ten Hag told BBC Sport.
"With all respect to Forest, we can't allow them [those goals]. They were easy give-aways. It's crazy, but sometimes games go like this. As I said, we stayed calm.
"It's a marker, absolutely. We've seen this team can bounce back. If you have such a start, you need to get over it. It's not easy, but compliments to the team.
"We have the personality. In certain moments we can definitely improve, but in general this team has the character to bounce back all the time."
Man United have made three signings this summer, with Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund moving to Old Trafford.
Alongside the possibility of Amrabat arriving, there is expected to be a goalkeeper addition, with Fenerbahce's Altay Bayindir said to be closing in on a switch to Old Trafford. body check tags ::
