Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly made completing the signing of Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland a priority ahead of next summer's transfer window.
The Norwegian has shot to prominence this season after accumulating a tally of 26 goals from 19 games in all competitions since August.
It has been suggested that United consider the 19-year-old as a top target ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, Solskjaer has expressed a determination to secure Haaland, who is viewed as somebody capable of developing a partnership with Marcus Rashford.
United are desperate for reinforcements up front having dispensed with and then failed to replace attacking duo Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez over the summer.
Reports claim that Haaland, who is worth around £85m, has also received considerable interest from Real Madrid.
