Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has remained coy over links with Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez.
The Red Devils have been credited with showing an interest in signing Jimenez this month following an impressive 2019-20 campaign, during which the Mexico international has scored 17 goals.
Jimenez came up against United on Saturday in a 0-0 draw at Molineux, with the striker hitting the woodwork from an acute angle after coming off the bench.
Speaking about Jimenez after the game, Solskjaer told BT Sport: "It's loads of players who are being linked with us.
"I thought he came on and did really well today. But I can't comment on the speculation."
Having failed in their pursuit of Erling Braut Haaland, who joined Borussia Dortmund, United are said to remain intent on signing a striker in this window.
