Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping to fend off Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Daniel Farke's side in the 2019-20 campaign, having registered six goals and two assists in the Premier League this season.
However, the Canaries sit rock bottom of the Premier League with 10 games left to play, and Cantwell has been heavily linked with a move to a bigger club should Norwich go down.
According to The Express, Spurs have a significant advantage over Liverpool in the battle to sign the England Under-21 international, as Cantwell would struggle for game time at Anfield.
The report also suggests that Jose Mourinho would be able to offer the midfielder more opportunities for first-team football, despite the fact that Jurgen Klopp's side are said to be the firm favourites to land the 22-year-old.
Cantwell has made a total of 57 appearances for Norwich, scoring seven goals.
