Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara is reportedly keen to leave the Allianz Arena during this summer's transfer window to make the move to Liverpool.
The 29-year-old's contract in Munich is due to expire next June, and the speculation surrounding his future continues to gather pace.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with the Spain international in recent weeks, although a recent report claimed that the Premier League champions were struggling to agree a fee with Bayern.
According to Abendzeitung, Thiago is keen to seek a new challenge this summer and 'sees his future' at Anfield despite suggestions of interest from Manchester United.
The report also claims that Jurgen Klopp's side are confident of reaching a 'compromise' over a fee for the experienced midfielder, who joined the Bundesliga champions from Barcelona in 2013.
Thiago has contributed three goals and two assists in 36 appearances for Bayern this term.
