Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly not willing to sell Harry Kane to either Manchester United or Chelsea during this summer's transfer window.

There is currently widespread speculation surrounding the England captain's future, as his current deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to expire next June.

Kane is thought to be seriously considering an exit due to Tottenham's ongoing trophy drought, while the club are also now outsiders to claim a top-four spot in this season's Premier League table.

There is also uncertainty over the managerial situation, with Ryan Mason currently in charge on an interim basis while the club search for a permanent replacement for Antonio Conte.

Man United will sign a new centre-forward this summer, with the 20-time English champions believed to have identified Kane as their number one target.

A recent report has claimed that Chelsea are also in the running, with the Blues set to appoint former Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Levy will not allow the team's star player to join a domestic rival this summer despite fears that he could leave on a free transfer next year.

Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest, but it is unlikely that the German champions would be prepared to pay the £100m fee that it would take for Tottenham to even consider a sale.

Meanwhile, the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid are not realistic contenders for the England captain's signature during the upcoming transfer window.

Manchester City tried to sign the 29-year-old in the summer of 2021, and Man United are said to be wary of entering into a long-running saga, which could lead to the Red Devils dropping their interest.

Kane is believed to be open to considering playing another season at Tottenham before leaving the club on a free transfer next summer.

The forward has again been in impressive form for his North London club this season, scoring 26 goals and registering five assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

Kane has 24 Premier League goals to his name this season, but Spurs are currently fifth in the table, six points behind fourth-placed Man United, who also have two games in hand.

Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Lille's Jonathan David and Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic are all allegedly viewed as alternatives to Kane by both Man United and Chelsea this summer. body check tags ::
