Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly interested in signing Rennes winger Desire Doue.
The highly-rated talent is attracting plenty of attention after enjoying a productive 2023-24 campaign, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 31 Ligue 1 appearances.
Doue's performances evidently impressed France Under-23 boss Thierry Henry, who included the youngster in his 18-man squad for the 2024 Olympics.
The youngster is now looking forward to representing his country on home soil, but there is some uncertainty about where he will be playing his domestic football next season.
Three Premier League clubs pursuing Doue deal
According to The Sun, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all showing an interest in securing Doue's services this summer.
The report claims that the three Premier League sides are ready to engage in a bidding war as they look to strengthen their respective attacking options.
Chelsea and Tottenham both view Doue as a 'top priority' for the summer transfer window, and the pair have already held discussions with the player's representatives over a potential move.
The two London clubs are said to be in negotiations with Rennes, and they are both hoping to secure a deal by next week.
Man United are also believed to be 'hot' on the versatile attacker and are continuing to keep tabs on his situation at Rennes.
Could all three English sides miss out?
While the three Premier League clubs are keen to secure Doue's signature, there is still a possibility that he could move to another European giant.
As per journalist Abdellah Boulma, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are currently leading the race to sign Doue this summer.
The German club are said to have a slight edge over the French champions, but the door is still open for another club to swoop in.
With Doue under contract until the summer of 2026, Rennes are believed to be looking for a fee in the region of €40m (33.9m).
