Manchester United and Manchester City have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks as a potential signing.
Since progressing through the club's academy setup, Winks has made 76 starts and 46 substitute appearances for the North London outfit.
However, the 23-year-old is not currently regarded as first choice under recently-appointed manager Jose Mourinho, throwing up the chance of an exit.
According to The Athletic, United and City are monitoring the situation ahead of possibly making a bid for the England international.
The Manchester clubs are considering their options in the middle of the park ahead of strengthening in that area during 2020.
Winks only penned a new five-year contract in July, leaving Spurs in a strong position to negotiate a large fee if they choose to part ways with the playmaker.
