Manchester United have reportedly lodged an offer of £3.5m for Monaco youngster Hannibal Mejbri.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is focusing his attention on first-team additions this summer as United aim to improve on this season's sixth-placed finish in the Premier League standings.
There is still interest in building for the future, according to Le Parisien, with the English side having made a formal bid for Mejbri.
The family of the 16-year-old have been pushing for the teenager to be allowed to leave Monaco, although The Legal Committee of the Football League (LFP) have ruled in favour of the club.
However, while Mejbri still has two years left on his contract, United are said to be prepared to spend a significant fee on a player who is yet to play first-team football.
