Manchester United are close to agreeing a new three-year contract with winger Ashley Young, according to reports.
The 30-year-old enjoyed a renaissance last season as Louis van Gaal made him a regular starter in the second half of the campaign.
However, his current deal runs out next summer and he has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa if talks stall.
The Daily Star suggests that the former England international will put pen to paper on a new contract before the end of the month, ending any chance of a transfer away.
Young joined the club from Villa in 2011.
