Manchester United are reportedly considering a January move for Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil.
United boss Jose Mourinho is believed to have wanted to sign Ozil last season, but the German ultimately signed a new £350,000-a-week contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Ozil has denied that he has a poor relationship with new Arsenal boss Unai Emery, although it is understood that there is a slight issue between the pair behind the scenes.
According to The Express, United are still closely monitoring proceedings at the Emirates Stadium and will move for Ozil at the start of 2019 if the attacker becomes available.
Ozil was on the scoresheet as Arsenal recorded a 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
The 29-year-old has previously played under Mourinho at Real Madrid.
