Manchester United will reportedly step up their plans to sign a new centre-back once a deal for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been completed.
United are said to be closing in on a move for Wan-Bissaka, who is currently representing England's Under-21s side at the European Championships.
According to the Daily Mail, once a deal for the Palace full-back has been secured, the Red Devils will turn their attentions to a new centre-back as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer further looks to improve the squad.
Leicester City's Harry Maguire and Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly have both been linked with moves to Old Trafford, although it is thought that the pair could be priced out of a move.
The report claims that central midfield will also become a priority for Solskjaer should Paul Pogba - strongly linked with Real Madrid and Juventus - leave ahead of the new campaign.
A disappointing 2018-19 campaign saw United finish down in sixth spot in the Premier League table.
