Dayot Upamecano's agent Volker Struth has revealed that two Premier League clubs have showed an interest in signing the RB Leipzig centre-back.
The France international has two-and-a-half years to run on his contract, which contains a €42.5m (£37.45m) release clause that can be activated in the summer.
Bayern had been keen to sign Upamecano in the January window, with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic confirming over the weekend that talks were underway with Struth.
However, with no agreement yet in place between the two parties, a move to the Premier League may yet be on the cards for the 22-year-old at the end of the campaign.
"[Apart from the Bundesliga] only the English league is in consideration. The Spanish clubs that were eligible are currently financially unable to do so," he told Sport1.
"It's no secret that there are two interested parties from the Premier League. A decision will be made and announced in the next few weeks.
"Hasan Salihamidzic is really trying and has found the right temperature in the talks. There is not too much pressure in there. Nevertheless, it was emphasised that they are very interested in him.
"Nothing final has been decided yet. The tendency for him to leave [Leipzig] in the summer is high."
Liverpool and Manchester United are among the English clubs to have been tipped to move for Upamecano in recent weeks.
