Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Valencia.
Darmian, who has long been linked with an exit from Old Trafford, is surplus to requirements having made just seven appearances this season.
The Italian has previously attracted interest from clubs in his homeland, with Juventus, Napoli and Roma having all been credited as admirers of the 29-year-old.
Valencia appear the current favourites for his signature, however, with the Daily Mail claiming that the Spanish side have entered negotiations with United.
The Copa del Rey winners have earned another year in the Champions League, which may appeal to Darmian despite the full-back still being interested in a return to Serie A.
Darmian currently has one year remaining on his United contract.
