Donny van de Beek could reportedly still leave Manchester United during the January transfer window despite interim manager Ralf Rangnick's recent comments on the Netherlands international.
Van de Beek has made 12 appearances for the Red Devils this season but has played just 67 minutes of Premier League football and remains out of favour at the club despite the change of manager.
Rangnick recently said that he wants to keep the Dutchman at Old Trafford for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign before assessing the situation this summer.
However, according to ESPN, Van de Beek could still leave the club in January, with the midfielder aware that he needs regular action to secure a spot in the Dutch squad for the 2022 World Cup.
The report claims that Man United will only allow the former Ajax youngster to leave on loan if his full wages are covered and the club also receive a loan fee.
Van de Beek has only played eight minutes of Premier League football since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's departure as head coach and has not been used at all in his team's last three league matches. body check tags ::
