Donny van de Beek 'wants Premier League stay amid Arsenal interest'

Manchester United outcast Donny van de Beek reportedly wants to stay in the Premier League, which could be a major transfer boost for Arsenal.

Donny van de Beek is eager to remain in the Premier League should he leave Manchester United this summer, according to a report.

The Netherlands international struggled in his first season at Old Trafford, starting just 15 games in all competitions after joining in a £35m deal from Ajax.

Van de Beek continues to be linked with a move away from United, with domestic rivals Arsenal apparently willing to offer the Dutchman a lifeline.

Italian champions Inter Milan are also rumoured to be in the running to sign the 24-year-old, as are a couple of unnamed Spanish clubs.

However, FCInterNews suggests that Arsenal are the frontrunners to land Van de Beek as he wants to stay in England.

United could still demand a large fee for the midfielder as he has another four years on the contract signed last September. body check tags ::
