Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has reportedly held crisis talks with his agent regarding his future at the club.
The Dutchman has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford and has been linked with a move away from the club, with Real Madrid said to be interested.
The 31-year-old met up with his agent Kees Vos on Thursday, according to The Sun, with the pair discussing his potential options.
Van Persie was an integral figure for United when they last won the Premier League in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season, but have since endured two campaigns without a trophy.
Injury has restricted Van Persie's presence in the starting XI, scoring just 10 goals in the league this season.
