Valencia teenager Fran Villalba is reportedly expected to reject a move to Manchester United in order to stay at the Spanish club.
The 18-year-old, who has represented Spain at youth levels, has attracted attention since making his Valencia debut under Gary Neville last season.
Villalba's agent Vicente Flores recently claimed that United have made contact about a possible deal, but Valencia are keen to tie the starlet down to a new contract.
According to The Mirror, Villalba is leaning towards penning a fresh deal with Valencia, who are offering improved terms and an increased buyout clause, which currently stands at £3.6m.
The midfielder has made four first-team appearances for Valencia.
