Villarreal owner Fernando Roig has revealed that his club are ready to sell Eric Bailly to Manchester United.
Talk of a move for the 22-year-old surfaced last week and it is understood that Man United are prepared to splash out £31m to bring the Ivory Coast international to Old Trafford.
Roig has confirmed that the two clubs have been in discussions and a move will be completed once a price has been set and the centre-back has agreed personal terms with the Premier League club.
"There is a team that is very interested and if the three parties agree there will be no problems. If the player wants to leave and Manchester are interested and pay, we will reach an agreement," Roig told reporters.
Bailly could become Jose Mourinho's first signing as Man United boss, although Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to sign for the Red Devils on Tuesday.
