Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck's future with the club remains in doubt as contract talks continue to stall.
The 21-year-old is in the last year of his contract, and it is understood that he wants in the region of £60,000 a week in order to commit his future.
However, United are only prepared to offer £40,000 a week as a basic wage, rising to a higher figure based on games played, according to The Sun.
Welbeck scored 12 goals in 38 goals for United last season, and was one of England's star performers at Euro 2012 this summer.
