West Ham United are reportedly preparing to step up their pursuit of Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard.
The 28-year-old reignited his career during his loan spell at the London Stadium, scoring nine goals and assisting five more in 16 Premier League appearances to help West Ham secure European football.
David Moyes's side are understandably keen to strike a permanent deal for Lingard, and according to The Sun, the London outfit will ramp up their efforts to prise him away from Man United.
A club insider reportedly told the publication: "Jesse knows we want him, so hopefully the club will pursue him in the next month or so."
However, Man United are reportedly determined to keep hold of Lingard this summer, and the Red Devils are thought to be weighing up a new contract offer for the Englishman.
Despite his stellar form since the turn of the year, Lingard was not selected for England's final 26-man Euro 2020 squad, with Ben White preferred as a replacement for the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold. body check tags ::
