West Ham United will reportedly raise funds for their January transfer activity by selling some of their most promising young players.

West Ham United are reportedly willing to sell some of their most promising young players in order to fund their transfer activity in January.

The Hammers are understood to want to bring in four new signings when the transfer window reopens in a bid to steer them to safety under new manager David Moyes.

However, in order to do that they will need to raise funds from the players already at their disposal, and The Mirror reports that they will offload youth in order to make that happen.

Eighteen-year-old Declan Rice is reportedly wanted by Arsenal, while 21-year-olds Josh Cullen and Reece Burke are currently gaining regular first-team experience at Championship strugglers Bolton Wanderers.

Perhaps West Ham's most promising player is 18-year-old Reece Oxford, who is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach where he has played just one minute of Bundesliga football so far.

Domingos Quina was previously scouted by Arsenal and Manchester United before joining the Hammers and could be another player used in order to raise funds.

The club are reluctant to sell all of their young talent, but are understood to have prioritised short-term stability over the long-term future of such players having dropped into the relegation zone.
