West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard on a free transfer at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 29-year-old was strongly linked with a loan exit in January but was ultimately not allowed to leave Old Trafford amid interest from West Ham and Newcastle United.
Lingard's contract with Ralf Rangnick's side is due to expire at the end of June, though, and he is set to leave the 20-time English champions on a free transfer.
According to Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge, who was speaking to GIVEMESPORT, West Ham are still keen to sign the England international at the end of the campaign.
Lingard starred on loan at David Moyes's side in the second half of last season, scoring nine goals and registering five assists in 16 appearances in all competitions.
The attacker returned to the Man United squad against Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday evening and played the final 10 minutes of the 1-1 draw at Turf Moor. body check tags ::
