Manchester United have announced that James Wilson has joined Sheffield United on loan for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old has struggled to break into the first team at Old Trafford, despite making his senior debut in 2014.
Since then, Wilson has been sent out on loan twice, but his spell at Derby County in 2016 was cut short due to a knee injury.
This season, the forward has been in positive form for United's Under-23s side and now he will look to impress at Championship level for Sheffield United.
Blades manager Chris Wilder told his club's official website: "James has a fantastic pedigree having come through the ranks at Manchester United and importantly has some good Championship experience.
"He says he is raring to go and is the fittest he has ever been, so couple that with his undoubted ability and desire to impress, than I'm sure he will improve the group."
Sheffield United are currently seventh in the league table.
