Chelsea attacker Raheem Sterling has not ruled out the prospect of completing a move to Manchester United.
Sterling has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists in 81 competitive appearances after completing a move from Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
Despite having three years left to run on his contract, it appears that Sterling has already made his final appearance for Chelsea.
Sterling has not featured in any of Chelsea's three matchday squads this season, having been banished from the first-team fold by head coach Enzo Maresca.
After being deemed surplus to requirements, Sterling is now looking to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge before the summer transfer deadline.
Sterling open to Man United switch
Chelsea are interested in signing Man United winger Jadon Sancho and are considering a swap proposal involving Sterling.
While it remains to be seen whether Man United would accept such a proposal, the Daily Mail are reporting that Sterling would be open to a move to Old Trafford.
The report claims that Sterling would not immediately rule out a Man United transfer despite his previous links with their local rivals Manchester City.
Sterling still maintain an affinity with his former employers, but he is seemingly not prepared for that to stop him from considering any proposals from Man United.
Sterling's Man City past
The 29-year-old started his senior career with Liverpool, before he completed a move to Man City in the summer of 2015.
Sterling made 339 competitive appearances during his time with the Citizens, scoring 131 goals and providing 73 assists.
The attacker enjoyed significant success at the Etihad Stadium, helping the club win four Premier League titles, five EFL Cups and an FA Cup.
After spending seven years with Man City, a transfer to their city rivals would certainly prove to be controversial.
However, the opportunity may prove too good too down if Man United are willing to give Sterling regular game time which could help him reignite his international career. body check tags ::
