Midfielder Tom Cleverley has been ruled out of England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers with a calf injury.
Cleverley picked up the problem during training, and he has subsequently been withdrawn from the squad to face Montenegro and Poland so that he can return to his club for treatment.
The Manchester United player hadn't been expected to feature in the starting lineup against Montenegro, but he would have been an option off the bench for Roy Hodgson.
Cleverley has 11 caps for England, the last of which came in England's most recent World Cup qualifying fixture against Ukraine.
