Manchester United attacker Juan Mata has revealed his delight after being named in Spain's final 23-man squad for the World Cup this summer.
La Roja boss Vicente del Bosque initially named a 30-man party, but cut that number by seven earlier this afternoon.
Mata, along with United teammate David de Gea, will travel to the tournament in Brazil, while Chelsea's Fernando Torres has also been named in the squad despite a disappointing 2013-14 campaign.
"Couldn't be happier! Very proud to be in the squad! Let's try to make history again," Mata tweeted.
Spain are the current European and world champions.
