Swindon boss Phil Brown is hoping top-scorer Michael Doughty will be fit to return for his side’s League Two clash with Mansfield.
Doughty has been sidelined for over a month with a hip injury but has made good progress in recent weeks and is on the verge of a first-team return.
Defender Sid Nelson is also hoping to come back into Brown’s plans after missing the last three matches, also with a hip injury.
Brown has indicated his intention to make changes in a bid to end his side’s poor run, with the likes of Ellis Iandolo, Jak McCourt and Kaiyne Woolery all pushing to start.
Mansfield boss David Flitcroft has a number of personnel issues to contend with for the Stags’ trip to Wiltshire.
Midfielder Neal Bishop is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the draw against Bury two weeks ago.
Alex MacDonald is still out with a knee injury and striker Craig Davies is not quite ready to return after an ankle problem.
Defender David Mirfin remains on the sidelines as he recovers from his long-term knee complaint.
