Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa has lamented his side's wasted chances as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Lorient in week 16 of the Ligue 1 campaign.
The current table toppers were thwarted by former OM striker Jordan Ayew who cancelled out an opener from striker Dimitri Payet, with Bielsa suggesting that his side should have made their superiority count.
"The difference between the two teams was not reflected in the scoreline, so there is the feeling of dissatisfaction," the coach told reporters after the game.
"We had enough chances to make more of a difference. There was a very big difference between the teams. In the second half, we managed to solve the problems of tracking back that we had in the first half and we played in their half of the pitch.
"The physical and technical differences might have led us to believe we would get a better result."
Marseille could potentially surrender first position in the league table, should Paris Saint-Germain defeat Lille on Wednesday night.
