Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa has insisted that his side deserved their 2-0 victory over Nantes on Friday.
The league leaders continued their pursuit for glory with goals from Florian Thauvin and Rod Fanni, and Bielsa highlighted his team's defensive qualities after the win.
"It was a deserved victory," the 59-year-old coach told reporters after the game, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"We didn't really concede any chances, except for one, although our game lacked fluidity, especially in the first half, when we struggled to find the first pass and to bring the ball forward from the defence to zone of attack and the zone where we construct attacks."
Marseille currently hold top spot in the Ligue 1 table, one point ahead of defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.
