Marseille have announced the appointment of Rudi Garcia as the club's new manager.
The 52-year-old has jumped back into management seven months after he left his job as Roma head coach.
Despite departing the role in January, Garcia remained under contract at Roma until today, when the deal was scrapped by mutual agreement.
Franck Passi has been in temporary charge of the French team since April following the dismissal of Michel, who spent eight months at the helm as Marcelo Bielsa's successor.
Now, Marseille have a new man in charge and Garcia's first game will be against Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes on Sunday.
During a two-year spell at Roma, Garcia oversaw 60 wins, 32 draws and 22 defeats.
