West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has revealed that the club have the option to turn Morgan Amalfitano's loan move into a permanent transfer.
The Frenchman, 28, who recently joined on a season-long loan deal from Marseille, scored one and made two in the 3-0 win over Sunderland at the weekend.
Clarke told the Birmingham Mail: "There is an option to buy. I said in August I needed some more forward players to increase options.
"It also creates more problems for the opposition - the more good attacking players you have, the more problems you are likely to cause them."
Amalfitano had previously been linked with a number of European clubs.
