Mexico's Olympic hero Oribe Peralta has said that he would like to follow Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez to the Premier League in the future.
The 28-year-old scored twice as Mexico beat Brazil 2-1 at Wembley on Sunday to win Olympic football gold at London 2012.
Peralta admitted that playing in England made his tournament even more special.
He said: "Yes, of course I'd love to come and play here. It would be a challenge and it would be really great for me.
"We watch Hernandez and he is an inspiration to us, scoring goals. We have to train to be like him. He scores many important goals for Manchester United, this makes us happy and it's something we aspire to."
Mexico's stunning victory was the country's first ever gold medal in Olympic football, with the win denying Brazil the chance to achieve the very same feat.
