Mexico striker Javier Hernandez has urged his teammates not to get carried away by their passage through to the last 16 of the World Cup.
The South Americans booked their place in the second round on Monday with a 3-1 win over Croatia.
However, Hernandez insists that the Mexicans will be keeping their feet on the ground ahead of their clash with the Netherlands.
"We are not going to wake up lifting the World Cup nor are we going to feel like we did in the qualifying round, feeling we might be ridiculed in this competition," he is quoted as saying by the Irish Herald.
"We are very humble and respectful. We will think of Holland next."
Mexico face the Netherlands in Fortaleza on Sunday.
