Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray has admitted that he was happy with a point against Leicester, despite knowing a win would have taken them to the top of the Championship table.
Fellow pace setters Southampton lost 2-1 at Cardiff, but Boro could not take advantage against 11th-placed Leicester.
"Ultimately it is a satisfactory point in the end, they will claim a lot of points away over the course of the season," Mowbray said.
"They are unbeaten away and, after struggling to find a formation in the early season, seem to have found a way of playing that suits them well.
"They have some talented and technically very good players and, even though we built up a head of steam towards the end, we are, ultimately, pleased with the result.”
Middlesbrough travel to last season’s play-off final losers Reading on Saturday.
