Middlesbrough have signed Real Madrid goalkeeper Tomas Mejias Osorio on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper has turned in performances for Spain's youth setups, while also making over 140 appearances for Real's development sides.
Paperwork for the loan deal was originally submitted back on transfer deadline day, but Borough have had to wait for international clearance before making the move official.
Aitor Karanka's men currently occupy 12th position in the Championship table.
