Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has reportedly arrived at Middlesbrough's training ground ahead of a proposed move on deadline day.
The striker has been involved in a back-and-forth transfer saga over recent days, with Boro pulling out of the deal having initially agreed a fee thought to be around £8m.
However, having yesterday confirmed that any potential switch was off, the Championship high-flyers reignited their interest today and are hopeful of pushing through a deal before the 11pm deadline.
The 25-year-old has already completed a medical with Boro, and the two parties will now discuss personal terms.
Should the move go through then Rhodes could make his Middlesbrough debut against Blackburn at the Riverside on Saturday.
