Matthew Etherington has reportedly started a trial period with Championship side Millwall.
The former England Under-21 international has been without a club since he was released by Stoke City at the end of last season.
However, he started training with Ian Holloway's men this morning, with a view to earning himself a permanent contract at The Den, according to South London Press.
Etherington, 33, began his career with Peterborough United, before having spells with Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Stoke.
