MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has claimed that he does not care about his side's League Cup third round tie against Southampton tomorrow night as he vented his anger at the Football League's fixture schedule.
The 35-year-old voiced his anger that the match was scheduled on Wednesday night rather than Tuesday, with the Dons facing a Saturday lunchtime Championship clash against Derby County this weekend.
Robinson's side caused a huge shock in last season's competition when they thrashed Manchester United 4-0 in the second round, but their boss appears to view this week's clash as little more than an inconvenience.
"I don't really care about the Southampton game to be honest," he told The Mirror.
"It is pretty poor of the Football League to expect us to play on Wednesday night and then on Saturday morning. What do they expect us to do? All our focus is on Derby County now."
MK Dons are 20th in the Championship table after taking seven points from their first eight games.
