MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has admitted that the sending-off of Swindon Town's Nathan Byrne during the 1-1 draw between the sides was harsh.
The Dons boss agreed with his opposite number Mark Cooper that the midfielder's challenge on Shaun Williams was not worthy of a red card.
"I generally look at my players and there was no reaction from them to say it was a bad tackle," PA quotes him as saying.
"He has gone in to challenge for the ball, but it's a lazy challenge. You can get seriously hurt from it but, for me, I can't see that being a red card.
"I've had people sent off for an awful lot less, but if I was in Coops's shoes right now I think I'd be disappointed."
During the match, Patrick Bamford cancelled out Alex Pritchard's first-half opener to earn a point for the Dons.
